Hour 1 of Ottawa Now for Tues. October 21st, 2025

October 21, 2025

Just when you thought the joyride was over, the Toronto Blue Jays battled back in Game 7 to rip the lead, and the ALCS, from Seattle’s grasp. And for the first time since their World Series title in 1993, Canada’s Team is headed to the Fall Classic. Chris and Brent Jelley, a pair of Ottawa-based die-hard Jays fans, were taking in every single second of glory during Monday’s festivities. They recount last night’s wild vibes at the Rogers Centre, as they make their way back home from Downtown Toronto. Later in the show, we hear from Alex Sirois, a Managing Partner at Ottawa Venues. He was also in attendance to witness the biggest Springer Dinger of the season. Meantime, it’s not all good news for Canada, as the country’s annual inflation rates rose to 2.4 percent in September. That’s largely due to an uptick in grocery prices, while gas and travel tour prices took a step down. But first, we bring you up to speed on today’s top headlines.
