Brampton homicide suspect dies in officer-involved shooting, Niagara police say

Police in Niagara Region say a suspect linked to a homicide investigation and a now-cancelled Amber Alert was shot dead by police early Wednesday.
Niagara police say they found a vehicle containing the male suspect at a gas station in Niagara Falls, Ont., around 2:30 a.m., and officers “became involved” with the vehicle.
They say there was an officer-involved shooting, and Anthony Deschepper, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Artificial Intelligence Minister Evan Solomon's comments come at a time of rising concerns about the risks of chatbots to children, including mental health issues.
