Ontario Premier Doug Ford is standing by the ads that enraged U.S. President Donald Trump. His government ran an anti-tariff message that aired in the United States, sending America’s Big Cheese into a downward spiral. And now, trade negotiations between the North American neighbours have been suspended by Trump until further notice. In the aftermath, Ford is calling the ads a success, claiming that it got average Americans and U.S. politicians talking. Was pulling the anti-tariff commercial the right move?
