South Ottawa community comes together to honour Brkti Berhe with a permanent memorial

A maroon city of Ottawa plaque honouring the life, and tragic death, of Brkti Berhe is the latest addition to Paul Landry park in south Ottawa. The plaque, which adorns a large boulder, was unveiled before Berhe’s family and friends during a memorial event at the park Tuesday evening.
