Ontario's funding for gender-based violence victims welcome, but some non-shelter services feel left out

The Ontario government says it will spend just over $26 million over the next two years to support survivors of gender-based violence, but some non-shelter services say without more support, families could fall through the cracks.
The government’s 2025 budget sets out an agenda of $141.4 billion in new spending offset by $51.7 billion in projected savings over the next five years.
