The final ballots have been cast and a decision has been made on Lansdowne 2.0 this afternoon. By a score of 15 to 10, it has been passed by Ottawa City Council, and the shovels will soon hit the ground. Neil Saravanamuttoo is the Director of CitySHAPES and a former G20 Infrastructure Chief Economist. As he explains to Kristy Cameron, he is not surprised by Friday’s final ruling, but he is also disappointed.
The Saskatchewan defence forced back-to-back two-and-out possessions to give their offence an opportunity to win the game.
