Ottawa Now - Ottawa Police Service officially rolls out body cameras

On Monday, the Ottawa Police Service deployed 30 Axon cameras as part of this Fall’s pilot project, which will be handed to members of the Crisis Intervention Team and designated police sergeants on the front lines. Not only are they wearing body cameras during regular duties, they will also be equipped with these cameras when responding to calls involving individuals in crisis.
