Sleep-deprived Canadians are not getting the best treatment for chronic insomnia

With his city facing a second major flood in four years, the mayor of Abbotsford, B.C., rebuked his provincial and federal counterparts on Friday for failing to heed the lessons of a devastating 2021 flood and provide funding for dikes, pumps and other mitigation projects. “To say that we are disappointed and frustrated is an understatement,” said Mayor Ross Siemens during a morning news conference to address recent flooding in the region.
