Dartmouth Community Fridge spends thousands to keep up with demand

A Dartmouth, volunteer-run organization says it's now buying nearly $6,000 worth of food each month for people to take for free from its community fridge.
The union for Ottawa firefighters is asking city council to protect its members by funding laundry appliances at every station in the city. The group is trying to prevent its members from getting cancer.
