Ontario is developing new drunk driving measures, which would force impaired drivers to pay if they kill a child’s guardian or parent in a crash. The Ford government announced the proposal in Tuesday’s news release, noting there are similar requirements in Texas. Should drunk drivers that kill parents have to pay child support? MADD Canada CEO Steve Sullivan says they support the idea in principal, but plenty of questions still remain. He joins Kristy Cameron on today's Ottawa Now.
