Mayor to host Annual Christmas Celebration at City Hall

November 25, 2025

Mayor Mark Sutcliffe will host the Mayor’s 23rd Annual Christmas Celebration at Ottawa City Hall in support of the Ottawa Food Bank.

Date: Saturday, December 6

Time: 3 to 6 pm

Location: Ottawa City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West

Admission: Donation to the Ottawa Food Bank

Celebrate the festive season in the fresh outdoors, and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will arrive from the North Pole and be housed in their very own outdoor cabin. Roast marshmallows around a campfire and enjoy hot chocolate, maple fudge, taffy on snow and horse-drawn wagon rides.

Bring your skates! The Rink of Dreams opens (weather permitting) for the skating season on Saturday, December 6.

Don’t miss the Christmas tree lighting ceremony on Marion Dewar Plaza at 4:45 pm.

You can indulge in delicious BeaverTails for only $2, with all proceeds raised going directly to the Ottawa Food Bank!

You can find full details on the event webpage.

The Mayor’s Annual Christmas Celebration is made possible by the generosity of our corporate sponsors. In the spirit of giving, and to help those in need, admission to this sponsored event is a donation to the Ottawa Food Bank.

This is not a nut-free event. Dress warmly as the event will be outdoors. Limited parking available at City Hall.
