Mayor Sutcliffe to present the Public Safety Action Plan

Mayor Mark Sutcliffe will be joined by public safety and community partners to provide an update on the plan to improve public safety in the City of Ottawa.
Media will have an opportunity to ask questions following remarks.

Residents will be able to watch the media availability on the City’s YouTube channel.
According to Calgary's mayor, the property tax increase as it currently stands would cost the typical residential homeowner an additional $3.90 per month.

The first test of the Real Estate Council of Ontario’s new administrator may be figuring out how to pay for promises made by Premier Doug Ford. Mr. Ford gave a speech on Monday at the Ontario Real Estate Association’s annual conference where he appeared to suggest that realtors who have commission income trapped in iPro Realty Ltd. bank accounts – frozen by court order – will be able to fully recover those funds.
