Canadian research suggests recommendations against screening for prostate cancer has led to a rise in the rates of stage 4 cases and less progress in mortality, even as other experts disagree and cite harms of overdiagnosis and overtreatment.
Canadians could face grocery bills up to $1,000 higher in 2026 as food prices rise 4-6 per cent, with restaurants and meat seeing the biggest jumps.
