Halifax Water says crews found the break in the pipe near Waverley Road Saturday night, and are on site today to continue their work.

Early details from City of Calgary indicate 2,000 homes and 100 businesses are impacted by the water main break, which left people trapped in vehicles on Highway 1 as it flooded.

A new lawsuit by a First Nation in Northern British Columbia is closing out a year in which the provincial government has struggled to advance reconciliation with Indigenous peoples in the legislature and in the courts. The Tsay Keh Dene filed a civil claim against the province in B.C.
