The B.C. Coroners Service will begin an inquest next year into the fatal police shooting of a 15-year-old boy in Surrey in February.

Melanie Serjak, CRA assistant commissioner, told reporters Wednesday the agency is aiming to reach a total of about 4,500 agents to handle a "very high forecast" in demand.
