Brandy Cooney was back testifying Tuesday at the Milton, Ont., murder trial for her and her wife, with the Crown challenging Cooney’s earlier narrative that she and Becky Hamber loved and cared for two brothers under their care and rarely used restraints.

All major highways connecting British Columbia’s Lower Mainland and Interior remained closed Thursday morning after heavy rainfall triggered flood warnings and evacuations in the south of the province.
