City recognizes Ottawa’s best in heritage conservation

December 17, 2025

Seven projects were recognized as Ottawa’s best in heritage conservation at an awards gala on Thursday, November 6 at Jean Pigott Place. Presented every two years, the 2025 the Ottawa Heritage Awards recognized exceptional projects completed between January 2022 and May 2025.

There are three types of Heritage awards:

  • project-based
  • student-led
  • community member/group.

Award of Excellence – Restoration: Maison Tubman - 51 Crichton Street Award of Merit – Infill: Stone Abbey - 11 Galt Street Award of Excellence: Infill: Evo - 280 O’Connor Street Award of Merit – Government: Westboro Beach Pavilion Award of Excellence – Government: National Capital Commission River House Award of Excellence - Chief William Commanda Bridge
