B.C. Mountie ordered to resign or be fired after vulgar group chats

Coquitlam Const. Ian Solven, convicted of discreditable conduct for making sexist comments in group chats, has been ordered to resign within 14 days, or he will be fired. The fate of the two other officers will be handed down in the new year.
'It almost feels like until a kid gets seriously injured, it’s not going to get handled the way it should be,' said a concerned Kelowna mother.
