Invasive snail species found in P.E.I. believed to be new to the Maritime provinces

The species appears to be an invasive snail known as the big-eared radix, which is native to Europe and Asia. It was found in Andrew's Pond in the East Royalty area of Charlottetown.
The taiga flycatcher has never before been seen in Canada. At least, not until this holiday season when a bird watcher spotted the rare avian specimen in a Vancouver park.
