A provincial proposal to allow people to bring their own alcohol to certain outdoor events is drawing mixed reaction from Ottawa residents and festival organizers.

The Northern Ontario Hockey Association will allow the U18 Soo Jr. Greyhounds to compete in a championship game on Sunday in Sudbury against the Copper Cliff Reds. There were initially told they had to forfeit a game after leaving behind an allegedly messy dressing room.
