Ancient bedrock exposed by disappearing permafrost is releasing toxic metals into Canada's northern rivers, a new study says, with some once-pristine subarctic streams now comparable to highly acidic, contaminated mining sites.
Police said officers were called to intervene when a man was reported to them as unconscious following a physical intervention by the security guard.
