City council votes to remove truck route, add bike lanes on Gladstone Avenue

Ottawa is moving forward with a plan to make Gladstone Avenue safer for biking three years after a collision involving a dump truck left a cyclist seriously injured. Gilmour Street is getting a new bike lane of its own.
There have been at least 110 confirmed tornadoes across Canada so far this year, surpassing the average of 65. Saskatchewan, Alberta and Ontario had the highest numbers compared to other provinces.
