BC Teachers: Sign the petition to Premier Clark

The current labour dispute between the provincial government and the British Columbia Teacher's Federation is about much more than wages and benefits - it's about improving learning conditions for the children of our province.

Teachers are making a stand because BC, one of Canada's wealthiest provinces, has been getting a failing grade on education spending. Funding per student in BC is the worst in all of Canada and in 2009-2010, the province had the worst student-to-educator ratio in Canada.

It's time for BC to support excellence in education and protect our students' future!
