Canada's First EcoDistrict - February Community Engagement

January 23, 2015

Help make Ottawa a sustainable City!

Please join us during the Ottawa Centre EcoDistrict's February community engagement event. We want Ottawa to become one of the most sustainable cities in North America by 2020, and to do this we need your creativity and we need your help.

An EcoDistrict is a neighbourhood where property owners, businesses, organizations and residents work together to reduce environmental impacts, create dynamic social spaces, and grow local businesses. More information about the EcoDistrict and how to get involved is listed at the bottom.

And please consider this invitation open to you and everyone in your organization, and within your network. It would be greatly appreciated if you would consider forwarding this e-mail to your Ottawa network and sharing our Facebook event - all are welcome!

When: Thursday, February 19th, 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Where: Jean Pigot Place, City Hall

A detailed agenda will be distributed as we get closer to the event but you can click here to RSVP and for an outline of the evening, and other event details.

We need good ideas and people to help implement them. In order to improve the downtown core we need you. We cannot do this without your help. Thank you for your time and for your support,
