Founded in 2006, Ecology Ottawa has grown to become the largest organization in the city focused on local environmental issues. The organization was created based on the belief that the City of Ottawa needs to become an environmental leader among Canadian cities. By increasing citizen participation in decisions that shape Ottawa’s environment, we can engage city council and encourage its improved environmental performance. Catch Ottawa's Mayoral All-Candidates Debate on The Environment, Sept. 24th

Election season has begun in the City of Ottawa and Ecology Ottawa is
organizing a mayoral all-candidates debate on the environment Wednesday
September 24th at the Ottawa Convention Centre.

Join us to find out which candidate for Ottawa's next mayor will:

  • Prioritize investments in cycling and pedestrian infrastructure to ensure Ottawa has safe, healthy and sustainable modes of transportation accessible to everyone.
  • Work hard to protect our trees and waterways so all residents can benefit from a healthy and vibrant natural environment.
  • Show leadership in the fight against climate change and the transition away from our dangerous dependence on fossil fuels.

Seating is limited! You must RSVP on the Ecology Ottawa website to attend

The debate starts at 7pm sharp and will take place in Room 102 of the Ottawa
Convention Centre, 55 Colonel By Drive, behind the Rideau Centre.
