Dear Ottawa residents,
With today's announcement, Ontario is helping Solantro Semiconductor Corporation bring to market made-in-Ontario technology that will raise the efficiency of solar power while creating up to 20 jobs in Ottawa.
Solantro has developed technology that will help solar panels produce more energy, while making them cheaper to design and install. Ontario is supporting the company with a new investment that will help it field test this technology and attract buyers and investors.
We are giving Ontario companies, like Solantro, the tools they need to compete and win in the global marketplace. Today’s announcement will not only mean new jobs in the Ottawa area, but it will help secure our place as a world leader in renewable energy manufacturing.
