"Justin, if what you're saying is true..."

January 18, 2016

Gabriel Luneau is a lunatic...in the best sense of the word. Now, he has created a stand-up video in his second language (English) that challenges Justin Trudeau to make good on his promises to Indigenous people. Art and activism at their best!

A hilarious rant/video by Gabriel Luneau tells Justin Trudeau how to walk the talk on his promises to Indigenous peoples.

Some of the Indigenous rights issues that Gabriel raises in the video include:

* respect for Algonquin land rights at the sacred site Akikodjiwan (Chaudiere Falls and islands) in the Ottawa River

* the Line9 approval by the National Energy Board in Quebec and support to activists blocking the line

* support for the Unist'ot'en Camp in B.C., where activitist are occupying land to protect it from pipeline expansion

* the need for non-Indigenous Canadians to understand their superiority delusion; learn how to become a settler ally.
