About the author

I am an Associate Professor of Ancient Greek Philosophy at the Dominican University, and also the Director of Graduate Studies of Philosophy.  I grew up in the Trend Arlington neighbourhood.  I currently serve as the VP of the Trend Arlington Community Association.  I am also a part-time musician, composer and performer.

I am very fortunate to have remarkable musicians to accompany me on stage. I am pleased to invite you to a night of music with the Mark J. Nyvlt Band at Pressed (750 Gladstone Ave.) on November 11, 8-11 p.m. In the band, we have Robert Libbey, Ken Kanwisher, Zeek Gross, and Alvaro De Minaya. Special guests: Andrew Mah, Robin Mallory, and Mike McCormick (who will end the evening with a group jam).

Cover fee: $6 or pay what you can.

Je suis très chanceux d'avoir des musiciens remarquables qui m’accompagne sur scène. Je suis heureux de vous inviter à une soirée de musique avec la bande de Mark J. Nyvlt à Pressed (750 ave. Gladstone) le 11 novembre, 20h00 – 23h00. Les membres de ma band sont : Robert Libbey, Ken Kanwisher, Zeek Gross, et Alvaro De Minaya. Invités spéciaux: Andrew Mah, Robin Mallory, et Mike McCormick (qui se terminera la soirée avec une "jam" de groupe).
