This morning, I had a radio interview regarding my new album, "Swingin' Night," and about my life as a philosopher and musician. Teresa and Al were wonderful hosts at CKCU, 93.1 FM. If you are interested, you can listen to the show later at this link, at the 98-minute mark: http://cod.ckcufm.com/programs/129/26112.html

Bonjour à toutes et à tous / Hello everyone,
I am happy to invite you to my CD release party at 208 Sparks St., at The Farmteam Cookhouse and Cellar on Saturday, March 5 at 5 pm. (Please note that this is NOT in the Glebe.) I will be accompanied by a remarkable band of musicians:
1) Robert Libbey - guitar, dobro, and harmonica
2) Cyndi Kennedy - backup vocals
3) Ken Hatcher - keyboards
4) Ken Kanwisher - bass, cello, and accordion
5) David Titus - drums
6) Denis Kashi - congas
7) Zeek Gross - saxaphone
Plus, we will have two guest musicians: Andrew Mah on classical guitar and Robin Mallory on flute.
Tariq Anwar will be our soundman.
We begin at 5 pm and kids are welcome! It is free admission. CDs are $15 each or $25 for two. The music will be available on iTunes and Spotify in a couple of weeks.
As anyone who has produced a CD knows, so much energy has been invested into that project. It is always enjoyable to share such a project with family and friends.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me.
J'ai hâte de vous voir tous rassemblés ici pour le lancement au 208, rue Sparks (The Farmteam Cookhouse and Cellar).
All the best et au plaisir!
Mark Nyvlt (mobile: 613-277-1416)
