Martin Canning has a vision for a new Ottawa

January 20, 2014

This is an official announcement from Martin Canning's 'New Ottawa' municipal election campaign in Sommerset Ward.

Martin Canning has a vision for a new Ottawa. "The Somerset ward candidate says city council has been 'going at it alone,' for too long and hopes his campaign will spark an unprecedented level of public engagement."

What is the New Ottawa campaign?

The New Ottawa campaign is the name for Martin Canning's 2014 election campaign in Somerset Ward: downtown Ottawa. Fundamentally, New Ottawa is a shared vision about the future of downtown Ottawa and a practical road map for change that will also produce the campaign's local platform.

How can you participate in creating this road map for change?

Through the New Ottawa Campaign your vision for a new Ottawa will be captured and will contribute to the Martin Canning 2014 campaign platform.  There are three things you can do to have your say…

  • Visit NewOttawa.ca. Tell us why municipal politics matter.
  • Follow @NewOtt and tell us about the change you want to see in Somerset Ward using #NewOttawa.
  • Tell us what you love about the city by sharing photos and your thoughts on the New Ottawa Facebook page.

New Ottawa. It’s a campaign, it’s your vision, and it’s our future; together.
