Meet the Faces of 'New Ottawa'

April 16, 2014

Traditionally, political campaigns have sought out endorsements from the big leagues and this is meant to persuade voters into favouring their campaign. But why is that? If a campaign is to be as credible as those who support it and those who are behind it, shouldn’t it be represented by its constituents? Shouldn’t the credibility be up to you as a voter?

That’s why New Ottawa is listening to your stories, your needs, and your ambitions for the future of Somerset Ward. It’s also why we’re sharing your voice. Enter the Faces of New Ottawa, a series of short interviews with our supporters — the people who live, work, and play in downtown Ottawa and brand it the thriving epicenter of our city.

John and Bill, a couple who have resided within Somerset Ward for thirty years, are active members of their community, and strong believers in this city’s potential, have given New Ottawa their stamp of approval. Click here to read their story.

Other campaigns showcase their big league supporter or two but we're not like other campaigns. Instead, we're going to showcase hundreds of friends, neighbours, and supporters who have come together to create the story and faces of New Ottawa.

If you want to become a part of our campaign simply reply to this e-mail - we need your help. Or contribute your ideas directly to our platform by visiting our Have Your Say page.
