Hans Moor

Hans Moor was rewarded the Bruce Timmermans award for cycling advocacy for his ‘laid back and engaging charm’. In the last four years, he spoke across Canada about cycling advocacy in Ottawa. He is the president of Citizens for Safe Cycling, Ottawa’s cycling advocacy group for 29 years. He also writes for Healthwise Magazine and maintains an Ottawa Bike blog. He cycles 8 km to work and recently rediscovered the joy of getting to know the city by bike. He even made it to Barrhaven this summer.
