New provincial legislation prohibiting how municipalities can build bike lanes means three projects in Ottawa likely can't move forward and others will get more expensive, according to a city report.
For more than 45 years, Grandeur Park has been home to the Belltown Dome, a popular ice-skating venue in the Britannia area that supported hockey in the winter and lacrosse and floor hockey in the summer. As the facility reaches the end of its operational life, this popular site is ready for a new look, and the City is asking residents for their input and vision on what a refreshed space could look like and how it can better support the community’s recreational and activity needs...
