Earlier this week, OC Transpo Special Chief Constable Peter Scislowski told Transit Committee members that staff were mulling over the possibility. Kristy Cameron digs deeper with Ann Cavoukian, a former Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. She doesn’t dispute the benefits of Artificial Intelligence, but adds that we should find ways to promote public safety in a way that preserves privacy. Later in the program, we chat with Steve Desroches, the city councillor for Riverside South-Findlay Creek who serves as the Transit Committee Vice-Chair. He explains why he’s open to the idea. Plus, an injured bald eagle has been rescued from Calabogie, and is now on the road to recovery. Details are on the way in Hour 1, as we bring you up to speed on today's top headlines.
