Calgary researchers point to gaps in sport injury prevention for women

With more women and girls playing sports, there’s been a corresponding rise in injuries that can end participation.
That’s the consensus of 109 researchers, including three from the University of Calgary, who have made 56 recommendations for injury prevention specific to women and girls.

Toronto police are investigating after multiple mezuzahs were stolen outside Jewish homes for the second time this month.Officers were called just before 12:30 p.m. on Christmas Day to a condo building in the Finch Avenue East and Bayview Avenue area, where police said four mezuzahs had been taken from four units.
