A local lawyer says ChatGPT could fuel a spike in Canadian divorces. In case you didn’t know, the first Monday following the holiday season is typically one of the busiest days for dissolved marriages. At least, that’s where the first drops of a legal dissolution are being spotted. It’s dubbed ‘Divorce Day’ by family law firms, and some of the latest upticks are fueled by advice from ChatGPT, some of which isn’t very good. Russell Alexander, an Ontario family lawyer and bestselling author, joins Kristy Cameron on Ottawa Now.
