Alberta-developed VR technology aims to help Canada’s wheelchair curlers train for Milano-Cortina Paralympics

A team at Red Deer Polytechnic in central Alberta has developed a fully immersive virtual reality program that allows wheelchair curlers to test out the arena and practise their shots, even when they're not at the rink.
Thousands of residents have been forced to leave their homes in the Pimicikamak Cree Nation due to frozen pipes and sewage backup.
