Quebec’s photo radars generated record-breaking $133M in fines in 2025

The province’s Justice Ministry says mobile photo radars, which can be moved from one site to another, brought in nearly $97 million of the total amount. Some spots seem to be more lucrative than others.
Last month, city officials announced it is fast-tracking the project, which would add a steel pipe of the same size and parallel to the existing pipe.
