Farmers say they want to see changes to the federal government's Income Tax Act to include nieces and nephews in capital gains tax exemptions for farmland transfers.
I also want to acknowledge the shock, disbelief, sense of betrayal and struggle to understand “Why me?” that so many will be experiencing. The forces driving the need for change have nothing to do with your passion, dedication, ability or whether there was value in what you contributed.
