School closures, travel delays as Toronto area clears mountains of snow

Toronto residents should give themselves a bit more time to get where they’re going this morning as the city digs out from a weekend snowstorm.
City manager Paul Johnson told a news conference yesterday that it’s likely going to be a couple of days until the snow is cleared all the way to the curb.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders traded turf for ice in their 2026 Winter Classic game that had fans cheering loud with the Grey Cup in the building.
