Injured Toronto Maple Leafs’ forward William Nylander has issued an apology for making an obscene hand gesture during Sunday’s game against the Colorado Avalanche.

Ontario Provincial Police say they put out a shelter-in-place alert for part of the Central Frontenac community early Tuesday morning. The suspect was later arrested and the alert lifted.
