1 in 5 Quebec tenants struggled to pay rent over the past year, new study finds

The study on the rental market was carried out by Leger for the group Vivre en Ville. It says the average monthly rent has increased by $150 since 2023 and found that 20 per cent of participants struggled to pay their rent.
