Ride free Sno-Bus service during Winterlude!

Ride the free Sno-Bus shuttle on weekends and Family Day to travel between Winterlude event sites.

Going to Winterlude this year in the Nation’s Capital? Ride the Sno-Bus for free to several official Winterlude sites.  

Sno-Bus service information 

Two official Sno-Bus shuttle loops will run as follows during Winterlude weekends. Look for buses displaying “Sno-Bus” at bus stops marked by Sno-Bus signs. 

Winterlude shuttle loop: 

  • Runs between the ByWard Market and Jacques-Cartier Park North, with stops on Elgin Street at Sparks Street, along Laurier Street in Gatineau, and at Confederation Park.

  • Buses run every 15 minutes. 

  • Hours: 

    • 10 am to 5:30 pm on Winterlude weekends: January 31 and February 1, February 7 and 8, February 14 and 15. 

    • 10 am to 3 pm on Family Day, February 16.  

  • This shuttle service is operated by OC Transpo buses. 

Gatineau shuttle loop: 

  • Runs between Robert-Guertin Park and Ride and Jacques-Cartier Park North. 

  • Hours: 

    • 9 am to 9 pm on Winterlude Saturdays: January 31 and February 7 and 14. 

    • 9 am to 6 pm on Winterlude Sundays: February 1, 8 and 15.   

    • No service on Monday, February 16.   

  • Detailed information on this shuttle service is available on the Winterlude Sno-Bus website. 

Rideau Hall shuttle on February 7  

On February 7 between 12:10 pm and 4:30 pm, catch a free OC Transpo shuttle between Metcalfe Street (at Queen Street) and Rideau Hall for the Rideau Hall Winter Celebration.   

Use the OC Transpo Travel Planner to plan your trip to Winterlude fun. Park & Ride lots across the city offer free parking and easy access to major bus and O-Train stations.  

OC Transpo fares apply to regular service during Winterlude. Kids 10 and under ride free, and kids 11-12 pay a reduced Pre-teen fare. With a 2-for-1 DayPass—available on weekends and Family Day—two people aged 13 older can ride all day on OC Transpo service for $12.25, the cost of a single DayPass.
