New federal grocery rebate will cost $12.4 billion, PBO estimates

The parliamentary budget officer announced Monday that the Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit will cost an estimated $12.4 billion.
The funding comes as Mandy Gull-Masty faces criticism for not repealing an operational bulletin released last year that limited the scope of services covered by Jordan's Principle.
