Police investigating after bus driver left roughly 40 students stranded in parking lot

The students from Collège catholique Samuel-Genest were headed home after school on Friday, according to the local school bus consortium. As the CBC’s Jodie Applewaithe explains, the bus driver returned to the depot on Coventry Road, parked, then left.
OTTAWA — Federal officials say they won’t stand in the way of Alberta Premier Danielle Smith’s plan to put a number of constitutional and immigration-related questions to a referendum in the fall, and say they’re already taking meaningful steps to bring migration down to a sustainable level.
