Ottawa Now - Carleton student's critique of OC Transpo wait times goes viral on Instagram

It’s the city-wide topic that keeps on giving. Last week, OC Transpo released a memo that revealed a decline in bus reliability, particularly during the last week of January. According to the latest data, the transit service missed 6 percent of its bus trips during the month's final 7 days, which is significantly higher than its 0.5 percent targets. To nobody’s surprise, people are fed up, including our next guest. Atisa Khalaj, who is studying Journalism and Political Science at Carleton University, has spent many hours waiting in the frigid cold, only for her bus to no-show. One day, she reached her breaking point, and vented her frustrations on Instagram. Since then, it's gone viral on the Meta-based platform. She joins Kristy Cameron on today's Ottawa Now.
