Thousands of Canadians remain in Cuba, and in limbo, as the country continues to battle energy shortages. Air Canada, WestJet, and Air Transat officials have indefinitely suspended all flights to Cuba, with all 3 airlines now organizing a return plan for stranded passengers. Joining the show in Hour 3 is Aylmer resident Steve Chapman, who is among the crowd of stranded travellers waiting for a flight home. OTTAWA — Federal officials say they won’t stand in the way of Alberta Premier Danielle Smith’s plan to put a number of constitutional and immigration-related questions to a referendum in the fall, and say they’re already taking meaningful steps to bring migration down to a sustainable level.
