Operation Nanook puts Canada’s Arctic defence readiness to the test

Canada's Armed Forces have launched 'Operation Nanook,' a series of drills in its Arctic, braving fierce weather as part of a defence readiness operation in the region. On Sunday, soldiers were in Yellowknife, NWT, where temperatures plunge to below minus 30 degrees C.
More efforts are being made to help prevent older adults from being the victim of a scam. Police, the province, and seniors advocates teaming up to launch a new campaign.
