In Chris Cobb's well-written piece describing lessons learned from the shooting at St. Pius X in 1975, he describes Principal Father Lunney as having made 'a mistake' in allowing classes to resume the day after the shooting without counsellors on-hand to help deal with the trauma. Cobb also writes "(Lunney) saw no reason the shooting should disrupt the school's agenda". This is an unfair mischaracterization of how the decision was made to reopen school the next day.
