Hundreds of Kingston students compete in 26th annual skilled trades event

Almost 500 elementary and high school students from the Limestone District School Board gathered at St. Lawrence College this week for the 26th annual skills competition.

Dillon Lee and Lara Jamieson helped rescue a pig that had escaped from a pickup truck as it travelled last Saturday on the 417 at Carling. The pair, and the pig's owner, were eventually able to load the animal into a proper trailer.
